It is known that computer technologies and innovation approaches occupy a very important place in software design and material selection in production activities in today's enterprises. Innovative technologies, especially when integrated with computer and software technologies, create benefits in terms of profitability, diversity, quality in production, strategic superiority and most importantly, cost reduction. These approaches are crucial for optimizing production processes, increasing productivity and gaining competitive advantage. Software design is widely used today to automate manufacturing processes and evaluate business performance through data analytics. Computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) accelerate the product development process and reduce costs. Material selection gives manufacturing organizations an edge in differentiation by influencing product performance, durability and cost-effectiveness. Computer-aided engineering (CAE) and simulation techniques contribute to businesses by analyzing material properties and ensuring appropriate selection. Innovation approaches, also known as innovation management, facilitate continuous improvement, product innovation and rapid response to customer demands. Data analytics and artificial intelligence help to identify trends and potential improvements in production processes, while enabling the rapid adaptation of developments in this field to production systems. In this way, innovation approaches with computer technologies in production activities allow companies to maximize their competitiveness and provide more returns. When the findings and results of the studies in the literature are evaluated, it brings with it the possibilities and opportunities that will make a difference in providing a future-oriented perspective to production enterprises by creating more efficient and flexible production processes. Within the scope of this study, it was aimed to determine and reveal the benefits that will be provided by the enterprises in design and material selection by using software technologies in production activities. As a result, when the findings obtained as a result were evaluated, it was determined that technological superiority and advantage among the sine qua non of the enterprises operating in the field of production today create benefits and make a difference to the enterprises in many respects.
